The new Woody Allen movie is all about nostalgia. I saw it with my parents. Our last vacation was in Paris. High school. Lots of night fog and narrow streets.

JERKIN’. Gotta start dancing like this.

Also, it hurts knowing I’ll never be as cool as these kids. :(

This gives scrawny dorks like me hope that one day I might look cool in motion.

I think I already reblogged this from manabouttown but it deserves another go

“ There are two definitions of the 16th century word, derived from the Latin obsoletus. The first reads, “No longer in use or no longer useful.” Like the 8-track (say, what?) or the Floppy Disk (which I declared dead in February 2007). ‘No longer current,’ the second definition goes. ‘Old-fashioned.’ ”

A.R. Rahman - “Urvasi Urvasi”

This is from the Bollywood movie Kadlahan, which I haven’t had the pleasure of viewing. “Urvasi Urvasi” is a seriously ill, synth-backed song and features perhaps the most wicked dance moves ever performed by an Indian. Definitely not like anything I’d previously associated with Indian music/cinema.
